The abundance of flowering plants around the property also attract many birds – some of which avoid feeders altogether. The tiny Tufted Coquette is one of the most sought-after hummingbirds in South America, and we encountered several visiting the abundant vervain flowers at Asa Wright – perhaps the best and most reliable place to see them anywhere.
