Status: Rare (Less than annual)
Origins: Breeds in wetlands of the western & mid-western United States, southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. The winter range extends throughout Mexico and the southern United States.

- Lamaline (Burin Peninsula), August 5, 2012 (reportedly present more than week)
- Biscay Bay, September 1, 2012
- Cape St. Mary’s, September 7-9, 2012
