Status: Very Rare (< 5 records)
Origins: Widespread along both Atlantic and Pacific coasts as far as South America, but is considered a rare visitor to Atlantic Canada.
Record Details: One record for Newfoundland – an immature at Hermitage (Connaigre Peninsula) from ~July 8-14, 2003.

I have pictures of the pelican that visited Hermitage (Connaigre Peninsula) in July of 2003.
