Status: Very Rare (< 5 records)

Origins: Breeds across the upland prairies of central North America, wintering in the southcentral United States and northern Mexico. It is a rare visitor east of its range.

Record Details: One record for Newfoundland – a male spent a week at Ramea from June 7-14, 1965. According to records, photos and video were acquired.
