Long-billed Murrelet

Brachyramphus perdix

Status: Very Rare (< 5 records)

Origins: Occurs in the north Pacific, breeding in old growth forests and wintering at sea from mostly from Japan to Korea. 

Record Details: One of the more bizarre records for Newfoundland, when one was discovered at Little Codroy River on July 15, 1989.
